About Alarm Actions

An alarm action is an action that the system takes when an alarm is triggered for an alarm group. An alarm group is a set of related tags. See About Alarm Groups for information about creating alarm groups.

What are alarm actions used for?

Alarm actions are used to send notifications when an alarm is triggered. An alarm can have a set of alarm actions which are executed in a defined order.

Configuring Alarm Actions

Alarm actions are defined on the Actions tab of the Alarm Actions module. You can define any number of alarm actions for an alarm group.
