Application Runtimes Module

The Application Runtimes module is where you can view the application runtime parameters, particularly SCADA Runtime parameters. These are usually set up once and not changed.

Use the Application Runtimes module, rather than the Parameter Editor, to work with runtime parameters. The Application Runtimes module presents the Application runtime parameters in a more user-friendly way by itemising the command line parameters included in each of the runtime parameters.

What are Application Runtime Parameters?

Application runtime parameters are command line parameters used for launching applications such as SCADA Connect Forms or SPM Web.

For example, when you launch SCADA Connect from the Planning Schematic in DMS, an runtime parameter controls what data is loaded and what features are available in SCADA Connect. Application runtime parameters are also used to configure menu items in the web-based Launch menu.
