MDLC Services
The following services are included in the Rubicon MDLC driver package for a standard SCADA system using Motorola SCADA (MOSCAD) components:

MDLC Database interface |
Defines the connection between the MDLC Gateway interface and the host database. Receives data from the collection system and stores it in the host database. |

MDLC Get Time |
Handles time read requests to the gateway and to RTUs |

MDLC Primary Gateway |
Handles communication between the gateway device and the Rubicon data collection service. |
|
MDLC Read Device |
Specifies how the data collection service reads data from the MDLC devices. |

MDLC Set Time |
Handles time write requests to the gateway and to RTUs |
|
MDLC Write Device |
Specifies how the data collection service writes data to the MDLC devices. |

The server and ports specified for the MDLC Get Time, Set Time, Read Device, and Write Device must be accessible from all clients. Only the Connection Host and Connection Port must be specified |
