Viewing and Managing Tag History

If you have configured a tag to store historical data, you can view and modify tag history data from the Data Sources module or the Site Tags module.

View and modify historical values

View and modify a list of historical values, view a summary of historical data and a plotted trend line for the tag history.

To view historical values for a tag in the Data Sources module:

1. Click Data Sources to open the Data Sources module.
2. Select the RTU and table where the tag is stored.
3. Right-click the tag whose history you want to view and choose Open Event History.
4. Enter a time range, or accept the default range, and click Find to open the Event History form for the tag. From here, you can:
   • Insert a new event and value.
   • Delete an event.
   • Modify an existing event.
   • Use the Summary tab to view summary data and a graphed trend line for the tag values.
