Finding Network Objects

Use the Network Editor search tools to find a specific network object. You can find an object by name or by object number.

To search for objects by name:

1. Click Find by Name on the toolbar, or choose Find > Find by Name from the menu, to open the Find window.
2. Enter the following details:

   Field	Description
   Find What	Enter some or all of the object name. The search tool will search for results anywhere in the object name.
   Type	Restrict the search to specific types of object. Choose All to search for all types
   Match whole word only	Find only names that have the search term as a whole word

3. Click Find Next to find and select the first matching object.

If there are more matches, you can select them one at a time by continuing to click Find Next. Use the Previous or Next options in the Find window to set the direction for moving through the search results with the Find Next button.
