Adding a New Printer or Fax Machine

To add a new printer or fax machine:

  1. Install the printer.
  2. Click Printers to open the Printers module.
  3. Click Insert to open the Inserting Printer tool.
  4. In the Name field, enter the device name and network location in the form \\COMPUTER\DEVICE
  5. In the Description field, enter a description of the printer of fax. This will be how the device is identified in menus and options when choosing a destination for printed documents.
  6. Specify the device Type, either printer or fax.
  7. Click Save to save your changes.
