Adding a Sub-Table to a Network Table
A sub-table is another way of displaying the same information that you can display in a Network table. If you display information in a sub-table, a copy of the subtable is displayed in a single column for each row of the main table. The parent object of the main table row is the parent object of the sub-table.
Example
Here are two tables displaying the same information:
A | B | C | D | E | F |
a1 |
b1 |
c1 |
d1 |
e1 |
f1 |
a2 |
b2 |
c2 |
d2 |
e2 |
f2 |
A | B | Sub-table 1 | ||||||||
a1 |
b1 |
|

a2 |
b2 |

To add a sub-table to a Network Table:
- On the Network Sub-Table Tab, click Add to create a sub-table. The Network Sub-Table Properties screen opens.
- Create a data table and a display table in the same way as for the main table. See Creating a Network Table Paragraph.
- Click OK to save your changes.
When you bind the data in the main data table, a new column is created in the report table for each sub-table.
