Extending a role with a sub-role

Quickly add authorities to a role by adding a sub-role. The parent role will inherit all the direct authorities of its sub-roles.

Note:	Sub-roles cannot be nested, that is, a role does not inherit the sub-roles of its own sub-roles.

To add a sub-role to a role:

1. Click Roles to open the Roles module.
2. In the Roles screen tree view, select the role to which you want to add a sub-role
3. On the Details tab, click Edit. The fields in the Role Details section are now editable.
4. Click Add beside the Sub-Roles field.
5. In the Add Sub-Role popup, select the sub-role to add and click OK
6. Click Save to save your changes.
