Upload or View Site Resources

You can upload files that are attached to a site as a resource. For example, you could store maps, site access instructions, photographs of the meter location, or any other files that are relevant to that site.

Note:

You can upload files that are not related to a specific site. To do this, use the Resources > Library screen to upload files to a library folder.

To upload resource files for a site:

  1. Open the Sites screen and search for the site using one of the menu options. Click on the site name in the search results to load the Site Details screen.
  2. On the Site Details screen, click the Upload File menu option.
  3. Select the folder in which you want to store the uploaded file. If you don't select a folder, the file will be stored in the site Resources folder.

    Note:

    By default, files are stored in the site Resources folder. You can create new folders under the Resources folder to improve file organisation if necessary. To create a new folder, select the parent folder and click New Category. Enter a name for the new folder.

  4. Enter the following details:

    Click Add to open a file chooser dialog. Select a file and click Open to enter the file name.

    Publication Date

    Date on which the file was uploaded. This is automatically set when you upload the file

    Restricted Download

    Select this check box to prevent users from downloading the file

  5. Click Upload File to complete the upload.

To view site resources:

You can view site resources from the Sites screen or by searching for the site in the Resources > Site Resources screen. To view site resources from the Sites screen

  1. On the Site Details screen, click the Upload File menu option.
  2. Click on the Resources folder to open the folder tree and navigate to the folder where the resource is stored.
  3. Select the file to view the file details, or to download or delete the file.
