Changing the Planning Color Scheme

The System Plan Interchange colour scheme controls which colours are used for the various periods within the plan. For example, the plan day is coloured green by default in flow diagrams and histograms. You can create either a default scheme for all plans, or a custom scheme for a specific plan. The process is similar in each case.

To create a plan interchange colour scheme:

  1. To create a default colour scheme, click System Plan Interchanges to open the System Plan Interchanges module.

    or

To create a custom colour scheme, open the Interchanges tab for the plan.

  2. Click Insert to create a new plan period
  3. Enter the Plan Offset. This is the start time of the new plan period measured in hours from the start of the Plan day.

    Examples:
    • The offset for the plan day is 0
    • The offset for the day after the plan day is 24
    • The offset for the day before the plan day is -24

  4. Choose a Colour for the period.
  5. Click Save to save your changes.

Create more plan periods as required. The beginning of each plan period is used to define the end of the previous plan period.
