Running a Demand Prediction

Use the Demand Prediction module to run predictions for areas in your network.

To calculate demand prediction:

1. In the Demand Prediction module, enter the following details:

   Parameter	Description
   Area	Select the area for which you want to run the calculation
   Start/End Date	Specify the time period for the calculation.
   Loss Adjustment	Add any delivery loss adjustment that should be applied to the calculation. This should be expressed as a percentage of delivered water.
   Evap Dataset	Select which target dataset you want to use for the calculation. The options will be the minimum, maximum, or average predicted evaporation rates.

2. Click the Calculate button to run the calculation

The calculation shows the calculation for each day and for each planting in the area and period of the calculation with the totals in the lower panel. It also shows the data used in the calculation. Use the Display radio buttons to toggle between the types of data to display in the right-hand panel. For each day and planting in the specified period you can view:

• Evaporated volumes

• Crop areas

• Crop factors

Use the vertical and horizontal scrollbars to scroll through the data.
