Creating an Invoice Contact
Every property must have an invoice contact who is the party responsible for invoices for the property's account. When an account is first created, the default invoice contact is the owner of the property, but you can create a new invoice contact manually as follows:
To create an invoice contact for an account
- Click Accounts to open the Accounts module.
- Select the account whose invoice contact you want to set.
- In the Accounts table, click the Information button beside the property name in the Properties column. This opens the Object Details screen for the property.
- On the Object Details > Authority tab, delete any existing Invoice Contact authority for this property. A property can have only one invoice contact at a time.
- On the Object Details > Authority tab, click Insert to open the Inserting Authority form.
- In the Role field, choose the INVOICE CONTACT role.
- In the Party field, use the Find Party tool to select the new invoice contact for this property.
- Click Save to save your settings.
