Setting Contact Details

Logging in

When you log in to DMS as a planner, you are prompted to provide your contact details.

Note

Only one planner can log into a planning area or group at a time. If a planner has not logged out of an area or group, and you need to log in, you can release the area or group from the Contact List module. See Releasing a Planning Area or Group for more details.

To set contact details at log in:

  1. At the prompt, enter the following details:
    PropertyDescription

    Planning area

    Specify the planning area or group to log in to. If you are a planner for a single area, this will be selected by default.

    Phone number

    Enter your contact phone number

    Contactable

    By default, you can be contacted on this number by the IVR system. If you do not want to be contacted, deselect this checkbox.

  2. Click Accept to set the contact details and log in to the planning area

Logging out

When you log out of DMS as a planner you are prompted to specify who should be the after hours contact for the planning area.

To set an after-hours contact:

At the prompt, select a planner to be the after-hours contact. By default, you will be the after-hours contact for the area. Click OK to confirm the choice.
