Configuring Emergency Stop and Presets
Enabling or Disabling Emergency Stop
Set the Customer Emergency Stop parameter to Yes or No to enable or disable the Emergency Stop function for the Irrigator Portal and the IVR phone interface. This parameter can be set at the System, Group, Area, and Outlet levels. The setting on the most specific level applies - for example, the setting on the Outlet overrides the setting on the Area.
If this is enabled, any user with SP_OPERATOR role for the outlet can activate the emergency stop.
Configuring Emergency Stop behaviour
You can control what happens when an order is stopped using the Emergency Stop feature in the Irrigator Portal, the IVR system, and the Orders module. The options are:
- Stop the order immediately and disable any existing presets for the outlet. This means that any future orders for the outlet will not be delivered unless the presets are re-enabled. The planner can re-enable the presets in the Preset screen for the outlet in SCADAConnect Desktop or SCADAConnect Mobile.
- Stop the order immediately but don't disable presets. This means that any future orders that are due for the outlet will be delivered as expected.
This behaviour is controlled by an attribute on the outlet: Disable Presets On Emergency. This is set to No by default which means that presets will not be disabled after an emergency stop.
