Adding Multiple Observations to a WaterML Dataset

You can add a whole collection of observations at once by using the bulk insert tool. Use this tool to add a group of tags whose data belongs to the same observation type.

To create a group of observations:

1. On the Datasets > Observations tab, click Bulk Insert.
2. In the Bulk Insert dialog box:
   • Select the area or group that includes the tags for these observations.
   • Specify the observation type for the observations
3. Click Save and thenOKThe tool inserts the tags and applies them to the appropriate sub-category. .
4. Check the inserted observations and Modify or Delete any that are incorrect or not required
