Generating WDTF Dataset Extracts
Generate a one-off extract for a specified period.

Datasets to open the Datasets module.
- Select the dataset from which you want to extract data
- Click
Generate Dataset Extract and complete the following details:
Property Description Start/End Date
Specify the start and end date of the period for which you want to extract data.
Include Transfer
Select this checkbox to transfer the extract to the BOM after extraction.
Force Metadata
Select this checkbox to include related metadata in the generated extract.
By default, metadata is transferred for the first extract. After that, metadata is only transferred when the value of some attributes change.
If you have made changes to the data source (for example, by changing the object type), select this option to update the metadata in the transfer file.
Generate As
Specify the format in which to publish the status report
Preview
Generate a data extract file on the local machine. The extracted file is stored in the /temp/rubicon/spool folder.
When an extract is scheduled, the process runs on the application server.
Publish Status
Optionally send or print a notification of the extract status. You can send a notification whatever the status, or only if there is an error.
Party and Email/Printer
If you are emailing or printing a status notification, specify the email recipient or the printer to use.
- Click Save to save your changes.
