TCC Pool Level Report
Report Description
The TCC Pool Level report lists all regulators in the report area and reports on their upstream level status and any upstream level alarm activity within the report period.
Report Parameters and Options
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Scada Group or Area |
Select the SCADA group or area for the report |
Start/End Date |
Specify the report period |
Time in Alarm Threshold |
Specify a threshold duration as a percentage of the total time. This allows a quick visual check of pool performance. If it is less than this threshold, the TOTAL row in the Alarms table is highlighted in green, otherwise it is highlighted in red. This defaults to 7.5% if it is not specified ![]() A pool performance total that meets the threshold set |
Group by Channel |
Group the output by channel. The channels, and the regulators within the channels, are listed in network traversal order |
Use Alarm Parameters |
This option allows you to simulate the alarm activity for the report period with an alternative set of alarm levels generated from parameters. See Using the Alarm Parameters for more details. |
Using the Alarm Parameters
When you select the Use Alarm Parameters option in the report parameters, you will see a set of alarm level parameters:
Alarm parameters with default values
These parameters are in millimeters and are used to calculate alarm levels for every site relative to the site's TCC Target setpoint. When the report is run, the results show what the site performance would have been if these alarm levels had been set. Use this tool to investigate possible ways of optimising alarm levels, and to examine site performance in more detail.
Note that the simulation does not use any deadbands, unlike actual alarms.

Report Output
The output lists each regulator in network traversal order. For each channel the output includes the following tables and a sign-off performance acceptance form:
Upstream Level Alarms
Field | Description |
---|---|
Site |
Regulator name |
TCC Setpoint Changed |
Displays YES if the TCC setpoint was changed during the period. See the Sites with Change of TCC Setpoint table below for more details. |
Control Mode Changed from TCC |
Displays YES if the site was taken out of TCC mode during the period. See the Regulators Taken out of TCC table below for more details. |
Upstream Level Alarm Limits |
Upstream Level LL, L, H and HH settings and the TCC Target setpoint for the site in meters at the end of the reporting period.
The TCC Target setpoint field is highlighted if the value changed during the reporting period. |
Upstream Level Alarm Counts |
Counts of alarm events in each category (L, LL, H, HH) for the period. |
Upstream Level Alarm Duration |
Cumulative durations of each type of upstream level alarm (L, LL, H, HH)during the period, plus the total duration for all upstream level alarms |
Upstream Level Alarm % Time |
Percentage of the report period when a site upstream level alarm was set. The total field sums all regulators in the channel or area and is colour coded to indicate whether it passes or fails the Time in Alarm Threshold report parameter. |
Regulators Taken Out of TCC
This table notes any periods during which any of the regulators on the channel were taken out of TCC mode.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Site |
Regulator name |
Start/End Date |
Start and end date of the period when the regulator was not in TCC mode |
Duration |
Duration of the non-TCC period |
Sites with Change of TCC Setpoint
Field | Description |
---|---|
Site |
Regulator name |
Event Date |
Date of the TCC setpoint change |
Old Setpoint |
Value the TCC setpoint was changed from |
New Setpoint |
Value the TCC setpoint was changed to |
