Sorting and Filtering the Alarm List
Sort or filter the Alarm List to organise the list or to display alarms meeting your search criteria.
You can create additional tabs on the alarm list and use these to display different selections of alarms. To create a new alarm list tab, click the
New Tab icon on the tab list and give your new tab a name.
Sorting the Alarm List
You can also sort the Alarm List by clicking on the column header that you want to sort by. For example, sort by acknowledgement status by clicking on the Acknowledge column header. Click again to sort in the opposite order.

Filtering the Alarm List
Filter the alarm list by using search criteria to show specific alarms. There is a basic set of filters on the Alarm List toolbar and an advanced set that is displayed by toggling open the Advanced Filter panel.
This table lists the available alarm list filters:
Basic Filters

Type and members |
Select the object to set the scope of the search. Search by System, Site, Site ID or Group. You can then display all the results for your selection, or pick a more specific scope. |

Limit the results to tags that are associated with a selected attribute type. |

Priority |
Filter by alarm priority |

Tag Group |
Filter by configured tag groups. A tag group is a set of related tags, similar to the sets of tags that you can generate by setting search criteria in the Alarm List, but tag groups can be saved and re-used. Tag groups are set up in the Tag Groups module of SCADAConnect Forms. See the SCADAConnect Forms documentation for more details. |
Advanced Filters
Display the advanced filtering options by clicking the button at the right of the Advanced Filter bar.

Use the duration filter to search for alarms of more or less than a specified duration. |

Search for alarms that were triggered in a specific period, or before or after a specific time and date. |

Search for alarms that were acknowledged in a specific period, or before or after a specific time and date. |

- Click on a column header to apply sorting. You can sort by one column at a time.
- Click
Apply on the toolbar, or click the Apply button on the Advanced Filter panel to apply filters.
Clearing Sorting and Filters
Clear all sorting and search criteria by clicking
Clear on the toolbar or click the Clear button on the Advanced Filter panel. The Alarm List will display all active alarms in the system and any sorting you have applied to the list will be cleared.
