About Rationing

A rationing plan is used to apply a restriction on the availability of river water, and optionally stored water, during a rationing period. Customers who have ordered water during this period have the option to top up their orders using stored water. Customers are allocated to a Water Restriction Group so that rationing can be independently configured for different groups of customers.

If rationing of river water is required, use the Rationing module to:

• Create a rationing plan
• Specify the flow rates available to each of the Water Restriction Groups
• Allocate stored water according to both availability of water, and customer preference.

Rubicon DMS will calculate and record the usage of each water component based on the finalised order.
