Attribute Types Module

The Attribute Types module is where you can work with the properties of attributes. Use the Attribute Type module to create and modify attribute types, to specify the range of values that an attribute can take, and to view a list of object types that use the attribute.

What is an Attribute Type?

An Attribute Type defines a named property that can belong to an object and can hold a value.

How are attribute values set?

Attributes may be set manually, or their values may be calculated, or read from tag values.

Note:	To set or change the values of object attributes, use the Attribute Editor Module. To apply attributes to an object, use the Object Types Module. To set the attribute type for a tag, use the Site Tags Module.
