Properties Module

Also known as:	Water accounts, ABAs, Parcels, Landholdings

The Properties module is where you can create and manage property records. Properties are created in the Properties module, then added to the network with the Network Editor.

What is a Property?

Water from your network is ordered for and delivered to a property. Properties can be associated with one or more outlets through which water is supplied. A property has an OWNER who is authorised to view the water statement for the property.

Other Property features depend on what Rubicon software packages you are using:

• If you are using the Billing modules, a property must also have an Invoice Contact.
• If you are recording orders by crop type, you can assign crop types to the property.
• If you need to share water allocations and usages between properties, you can create Single Water Allocation Accounts to represent a collection of separate properties under a single ownership.
