Viewing Messages for a Meter Reading
Meter readings will have a message attached in the following circumstances:
- The reading has been entered by a customer using the web portal.
- There is an inconsistency between the reading and the estimated usage.
The planner receives these messages and can use the Meter Reading History module to review the entries and either accept them or modify the readings.
Finding meter reading messages
You can find meter reading messages in two ways:
- By searching the Messages Module for messages with the Check meter reading message class.
- By searching the Meter Reading History module for readings with attached messages.
To view a message for a meter reading:
If a meter reading has an associated message, a Message icon is displayed beside the outlet and the specific reading in the Meter Reading History module.
Right-click on the outlet or on the reading and choose View Messages from the context menu. Any associated messages open in the message viewer. Use the scroll arrows to scroll through the available messages.
