Configuring the Scheduling Mode
The scheduling mode for an area is determined by the TCC Mode attribute for outlets in the area. Typically this will be the same for all outlets in the area.
See Order Scheduling for more information about scheduling modes.
There are three possible settings for the TCC Mode attribute:
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
|
Yes |
Orders are validated and automatically scheduled by the DMS service. The DMS service is fully responsible for ensuring that orders can be supplied with the available capacity. Customer can lodge or change orders and receive immediate confirmation. |
|
No |
Orders are checked for validity by DMS, but the planner is fully responsible for ensuring that orders do not exceed network capacity. Orders are scheduled by creating and finalising a plan and are confirmed by the planner. Customers must contact the planner if they need to change an order. |
|
Partial |
Orders are validated, and DMS checks for available capacity and schedules the order, but the planner is still able to modify the orders and move the start and end times. Orders are not confirmed until they are marked confirmable by the planner. Customers must contact the planner if they need to change an order. |
