Creating a Trend Group
This topic explains how to create a trend group in the Trend Groups module. You can also create trend groups in the Planning Schematic. See Creating and Loading a Trend Group for details.
To create a trend group in the Trend Groups module:
Create the trend group
- Click Trend Groups to open the Trend Groups module.
- Click Add to create a new trend group.
- Enter a name for the group and click Save to save your changes.
- On the Components tab, click Edit to manage the group components.
- Use the Add, Remove and Modify tools to build a set of network objects.
- (Optional) Specify a sequence number for each object. This will control the order in which the histogram tabs are displayed.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Specify the planning areas or groups for which the trend group can be used
- On the Areas/Groups tab, click Insert to add a relationship with a Planning Area or Group
- Specify the area or group to add.
- Click Save to save your changes.
This adds an authority for all planners to use the trend group in that planning area or group.
