Lodging an Order on a DMS Outlet
If an outlet is controlled by Rubicon Demand Management System (DMS), customers have more control over the ordering process. These features are available if the DMS service is configured for the area in which the outlet is located, and if the outlet is in TCC mode.
This means that customers can check the capacity of the system before they place an order:

Any orders are verified as soon as they are place to confirm that there is capacity to satisfy the order. If not, DMS will suggest an alternative order time.

-
If the customer clicks Reject, the order can still be lodged as an Unsatisfied order and referred to a Planner for scheduling.
-
If the customer clicks Accept the amended order is lodged but the Requested order record will be different from the Estimated order record. This data may be used by the Irrigation and Scheduling Performance Report to calculate order delivery performance statistics.
