Irrigation and Scheduling Performance Report

Report Description

The Irrigation and Scheduling Performance report provides summary order statistics and measures of delivery and planner performance for orders placed within the report period.

Report Parameters and Options

Note that the available parameters, particularly the report format parameters, may vary slightly as they can be customised for specific installations.

Parameter Description

Report on

Specify the type of report scope. The options are:
  • All
  • Area
  • Outlet operator
  • Planner

Area/Operator/Planner

Refine the report scope based on your choice of scope type. This field is not displayed if you are reporting on all orders.

Date lodged from/to

Specify a date range for the report

Format

Choose what details to include in the output:
  • Standard - include all standard tables. Output tables are described in more detail below in the Report Output section.
  • Standard with expanded flow rate scale - As for Standard but with a more detailed Distribution of Actual Durations table
  • Standard with distribution of times - As for Standard but with a Distribution of Start/Finish times table
  • Standard with flow durations - As for Standard but with a Distribution of Actual Durations table.

Notice Given for Orders

Property Description

Notice period

Notice given for orders (ranging from less than a day to more than four days)

Number of orders for which this amount of notice was given

Percentage of orders for which this amount of notice was given

Total Number of Orders

Property Description

Orders entered

Total number of orders placed in the report period

Orders delivered

Total number of orders placed in the report period

Orders entered after delivered

Number of orders that were formally entered in the DMS system after order delivery

Standing orders entered

Number of orders due to start within the report period that were generated from a long term standing order.

Standing orders delivered

Standing orders delivered within the report period

Other Orders

Property Description

Nbr of days orders commenced

Number of days on which different number of orders started. The table lists the number of days on which no orders started through to the number of days on which increasing numbers of orders started.

Nbr of concatenated orders

Number of orders that were associated with a standing order

Property Delivery - Orders Delivered with Regard to Day Ordered

Note

Changes to order start times that the customer has agreed to or has requested are recorded as the Requested start time so that delivery performance can be calculated correctly.

  • When customers accept suggested changes to the order start time in the Web Ordering portal DMS stores this new time as the customer's requested start time.

  • If a planner changes an order start time manually at the request of a customer they should mark the change as a customer request in the Orders module. See Change the start or end time, or the flow details for an order.

Cross references the amount of notice given for the order with the delivery performance of the orders in terms of start day.

Property Description

Notice

Notice periods given for orders. The table also reports the number of orders that were placed with the formally required amount of notice.

Delivery day

Delivery day for the order. This includes orders pulled forward or held back.

Alteration to Requested Start Time by Planner

Property Description

AM to PM

Orders that were requested to start in the morning but were moved to the afternoon (including start times on different days)

PM to AM

Orders that were requested to start in the afternoon but were moved to the morning (including start times on different days)

Other

Orders where the start time was changed (including those changed to different days), but where the order was still delivered in the requested part of the day.

Change of Finish Time and Acceptability of Change of Finish Time Notice

Acceptable notice

Number of orders for which the required amount of change notice was given.

Unacceptable notice

Number of orders for which the change notice given did not meet the required standard.

Distribution of Actual Flow Rates

Shows the number of orders for each flow rate interval. This table is extended in the Standard with extended flow rate scale form of the report to show a finer division in the lower flow rates.
