Changing the Site Operating Alarm Wait Time
A Site Operating Alarm is raised when the current flow at a site doesn't match the ordered flow. There is a wait time between detecting the condition and raising the alarm.
For metering sites which cannot be polled from the host a Site Operating alarm may be falsely triggered if the default alarm wait time is shorter than the configured interval for transmitting site data to the host.
If you experience false Site Operating alarms for a site type you may need to disable the alarm or change the alarm wait time. See Site Operating Alarm Parameter for details of configuring the alarm wait time for a site type using the Parameter Editor in DMS or SCADAConnect Forms.
