Data Sources Module

The Data Sources module is where you can create and manage data collection systems and sources.

A data source is a source of measurement data collected from your sites, or data derived from those measurements. In a SCADA system the data sources typically consist of sites with remote terminal units (RTUs) that store data in tables and tags.

Use the Data Sources module to create and manage the objects that represent the actual data sources, so that data can be collected and stored in the application database.
