Creating and configuring a role

This is the process for creating a new role:

• Create a new role.
• Add authorities to the role.

When you have completed these steps, you can:

• Add a role to a party.

You might need to give access to a specific object to a single user. For example, you could give the OWNER role for a specific property to only the party who owns the property. In this case you must:

• Give a party authority over an object.

If the object type is not configured to use the role, you must first:

• Associate the object type with the role
